Last night the girl's were running around in our newly finished basement with the lights turned out (chasing Morgan in her slippers that light up) and as Ashlyn told the doctor "I was running and I didn't see the wall." So mom, dad, and Ashlyn head off to the emergency room to get some stiches. Ryan offered to super glue it himself, but the doctor opted for 5 stiches in Ashlyn's forehead. She was so brave - she didn't make a peep while he was giving her 10 shots to deaden the area. She closed her eyes really tight and held my hands - what a brave little girl!! I was going to take the day off today and stay home with her, but she couldn't wait to go show Kali (Mandy's little girl who babysits them) her stitches! There were 2 other little girls in the emergency room with us - busy night for the little girls!

Those kind of nights are a lot of fun! The last time i had to take a kid to the ER was when my almost 2 year old found his grandpa pills. Thankfully they tasted so bad he just chewed them and spit them out. But we still had to make sure he was alright..
